Coronation Street fans were thrilled to see a “happy” Yasmeen Metcalfe fall about laughing at the idea of her evil husband Geoff Metcalfe being locked in the conservatory.
Abi Franklin pulled out all the stops on Wednesday to prevent Geoff Metclafefrom ruining Tim and Sally’s wedding.
She locked the evil character in a conservatory, ensuring Geoff would miss his son’s wedding and not ruin their big day.
Alya Nazir, Yasmeen’s granddaughter, visited her nan in prison to tell her what had happened.
Yasmeen remarked “He missed the whole wedding, because he couldn’t get out of that conservatory?”
She then erupted into loud hysterical laughter, thrilled at the idea of Geoff being kidnapped by Abi.

Later, Alya went to work to see Geoff.
She told him how shared the news of him being locked in the conservatory with Yasmeen.
The character took great joy in telling Geoff how Yasmeen had laughed, saying: “I haven’t heard her laugh like that in months.”
