Former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote has swapped Weatherfield for Serbia after landing a role in a new American fantasy drama.
The 29-year-old actress is set to appear in the third series of The Outpost, which is screened on The CW in the United States and Amazon and Syfy UK here in Britain.
Like most TV shows across the world, production was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic in mid-March but the brunette beauty returned to the capital Belgrade in June to re-start filming of the series.
The Outpost was one of the first productions to resume after the TV and film industry was put on pause and the latest series is expected to be ready to the screen in the autumn.
Georgia, who played Katy Armstrong in Corrie, shared a snap of herself on Instagram on set in her costume, a floor-length green dress with matching thigh boots.

The beauty captioned her social media snap: “Well well well… What’s going on here then? #amipunny @outpostseries @thecw.”
Unsurprisingly, the television personality’s recent Instagram grid update caught the attention of her 555,000 followers.
Taking to the comment section, one fan penned: “You look amazing.”

The soap siren is clearly enjoying her time living in Belgrade and has been keeping fans updated on her travels on social media.
Georgia played young mum Katy in Corrie from 2010 to 2015 and some viewers were unhappy with the decision to kill off the character, ruining any chance of a possible return to the soap.
Her character was killed off in a car accident after moving to Portugal and her ex Chesney Brown brought their son Joseph back to the cobbles.
After leaving Corrie, Georgia was a finalist on the 2015 series of Strictly and went on to date her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice – though they split the following summer.
Georgia revealed last year she had found love again with boyband star Kris who was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent with his former band The Mend in 2012.
