Coronation Street character Mollie Gallagher undergoes a dramatic transformation when it comes to getting into character.
The 22-year-old plays goth girl Nina Lucas on the soap and fans have fallen in love with her no nonsense attitude and her friendship with and protection of Asha Alahan, since she joined as Roy Cropper’s niece.
Corrie fans are used to seeing Mollie as Nina in full gothic attire, with heavy dark makeup consisting of thick black eyeliner and a deep hue on her lips.
Her clothing is usually all black with added frills, bows and lace to fulfil her gothic Lolita look.

And while it seems Mollie has a similar fashion sense in real life, it’s far less intense than her fictional counterpart.
The actress, who marks her first television role with Coronation Street, was snapped taking a stroll around MediaCity in Salford Quays, which is where the ITV soap is filmed.
She was seen in an all black ensemble, consisting of a chic skirt with a silver zipper right down the middle, with a zodiac themed t-shirt tucked in.

Mollie wore black tights and black ankle boots, with the laces only tied up to the usual place, leaving the top of the shoes to open up.
Given the soaring UK temperatures, she didn’t wear a jacket, but did carry one – black, of course – with her.
The soap star wore a pair of dark tortoiseshell sunglasses and some dainty silvery earrings, as well as the nose piercings she also wears in-character.
Mollie joined the soap in November 2019, with Nina initially not wanting to get involved with her uncle Roy (David Nielsen) when her dad Richard Lucas died.
However she soon realised how much of a good man Roy is and she moved in with him after her dad died, taking up a job at Roy’s Rolls too.
Since then, she’s been seen to be an incredibly strong character, sticking up for Asha (Tanisha Gorey) when a video of her flashing her chest was leaked around her friends.
Coronation Street currently airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV
