Friends legend Courteney Cox is set to reprise her role of news reporter Gale Weathers in the next instalment of the iconic horror franchise Scream.
The actress, 56, has joined the cast of Scream 5 and will star alongside her ex.
Confirming the news, Courteney took to social media to share a clip of the classic Ghostface mask before adding: “I can’t wait to see this face again.”
The starlet captioned the post by simply tagging the studios involved in making the movie.
The announcement comes less than three months after her ex David Arquette was also confirmed to be reprising his role of Sheriff Dewey Riley in the film.
Speaking at the time, David said: “I am thrilled to be playing Dewey again and to reunite with my Scream family, old and new.
“Scream has been such a big part of my life, and for both the fans and myself.
“I look forward to honouring Wes Craven’s legacy.”

During their relationship they had one child together, a daughter called Coco, who is now 16.
Talking about the new film, writer Kevin Williamson said: “I’m excited to re-team with David and work with Jamie, Guy and Radio Silence on the next Scream.
“Their take on the movie is both original, inventive and honours Wes’ legacy in a wonderful way.
“Ready Or Not was my favourite horror film of last year and I can’t wait to see what their amazing talents bring to the Scream universe.”
Previously talking about reprising her role in the movie, actor Neve Campbell, who plays Sidney Prescott, admitted she had been apprehensive to return because of Wes Craven’s death.
She told ReelBlend co-host Jake Hamilton: “He was such a genius and he is the reason they are what they are.
“But [directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin] have come to me with such a great appreciation for Wes’ work, and they really want to honour it. That meant a lot to me. Hopefully we’ll be able to do it.”
