Cyclist Bradley Wiggins has made up home with a 'PR girl' after split from wife

Sir Bradley Wiggins has reportedly found love once more, just six months after announcing he was splitting from his wife of 16 years, Catherine.

Catherine and Bradley who first met in 1997 share three children, Ben, Rebekah and Isabella.

Following their split in May, it’s said that Bradley, 40, has moved on and found a new girlfriend after being introduced through mutual friends.

According to The Sun, Brad and his new lover have already moved to the next stage with the PR worker even opened her door and Bradley has moved into her plush London home.

It’s said that Bradley and Laura Hartshorne’s lifestyle and interests are more suited, with the pair being “very loved up”.

The mole revealed: “It was never intended to turn into a relationship but they formed a close emotional bond and things progressed from there,

“He’s moved in with her in London and they’re very loved up.”

Bradley is believed to have addressed his new relationship, saying: “I understand that going through this publicly is painful and difficult for those involved.

“But one thing that I have realised over the last 12 to 18 months is that I probably always used to put other people first.

“Thanks to a close circle of friends I have been able to realise that I also deserve my own happiness.”

It’s reported that he said he can only be the “best version” of himself when he is happy.

The Olympian and his wife announced earlier this year that they were separating, a statement read: “It is with deep sadness my wife Cath and I have decided to separate.

“Our two children remain our priority and we ask for privacy at this time. Brad & Cath.”

At the height of his career, he faced allegations of doping – which were later dropped after a 14-month enquiry.

He has strenuously denied the allegations made against him but insisted they inflicted substantial damage on his family life.

Daily Star Online has approached Sir Bradley’s representatives for comment.
