Dan Osborne admits to cheating on Jacqueline Jossa and says 'I'm an idiot'

Dan Osborne has finally admitted to cheating on Jacqueline Jossa as he opened up about the “mistakes” he has made in their marriage.

Rumours have plagued the 29-year-old for some time, but Dan has yet to officially own up to any wrongdoing – until now.

Speaking to The Sun, the TOWIE star confessed: “I’ve made mistakes. I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done.”

Dad-of-three Dan told the publication he informed Jacqueline about his indiscretions, adding that he “takes full responsibility for being c**p”.

Dan and Jacqueline, who tied the knot back in 2017 after a two-year engagement, have two young daughters together – little Ella and Mia.

Owning up to straying in the past, Dan told the publication: “I’ve made mistakes, yeah. I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done. Me and Jac have spoken about that and she has forgiven me.

“I know in the past I’ve denied things when they’re not true, then when something has been true, I probably just kept my mouth shut. I was a different person.”

Regretting his actions, he added: “It seems a cliché to say, but I was a young lad and on TV and stuff. I’m not saying you get big headed, but you get dug out for things anyway and then you’re feeling s**t in yourself.

“And then you get a bit of attention… then things are bad at home, so you go out and get p****d instead of working on fixing things.”

During the lockdown, Jacqueline moved out of their marital home for some “time apart” only to later return to Dan days later.

Dan confessed, if the shoe was on the other foot, he would have left Jacqueline and ended their marriage.

He added: “There have been times where if it were the other way round, I would have left.

Dan flew out to meet Jacqueline in the jungle as she landed the I’m A Celeb crown

“I would have gone, so I’ve said to her ‘I wouldn’t blame you if you left me’. I’ve said that to Jac.

“I’ve said if it was the other way around I’d be gone, it’s not like I’ve been brushing off any mistakes that I’ve made. I’m fully aware of them and I’m aware that it ain’t right.”

When Jacqueline captured the heart of the nation on last year’s I’m A Celeb, eventually winning the competition, Dan realised how lucky he was.

He explained: “That month away from her I missed her so much more than I thought I would.

“I struggled without her. She was on the other side of the world and if she needed me, I couldn’t even get there, I couldn’t speak to her as she didn’t have her phone.

“When I saw her on TV I was like, I hope she comes out now, I wanted her to win but I wanted her to come out as well. Once she was out, I felt good, I had her back.”

Jacqueline is currently abroad in Ibiza, shooting her brand-new clothing collection with In The Style along with her celebrity pals Charlotte Crosby and Billie Faiers.

While the other stars on the shoot brought their partners on the sun-soaked trip, Dan stayed back in England, caring for their daughters.
