David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been given the green light by the council to erect a three-room security building on their Cotswolds estate.
The building will help ensure the safety of the uber-wealthy family and will house two full time guards to allow 24 hour security at the £6million property.
Council officials have concluded that the Beckhams’ application is in keeping with the current property and will not have a negative effect on the surrounding area.
Signing off the plans, council officials said: “The site is in a relatively isolated location so the development will not impact any neighbouring properties.
“Given the location and size of the plot of land, the existing boundary treatments, and residential context of the site, the change of use of land is not considered to give rise to any adverse impacts in terms of visual amenity.
“Further, the proposed building, by virtue of its siting, design and scale, is considered to appear an appropriate secondary outbuilding ancillary to the main dwelling house.

“Therefore, given the above and that the development will not be prominent or visible in the wider landscape, officers are of the opinion that it is acceptable in this context.”
David and Victoria stated in their application how the building’s sole propose is to “improve security”.
The couple stated: “The proposed use of the outbuilding is solely in association with the main dwelling house.

“It will serve as a gatehouse to improve security for the occupants of the property.”
Victoria recently took to Instagram to gush over the happy news their eldest son Brooklyn has become engaged to Nicola Peltz.
Posting a snap of the couple on Instagram, the former Spice Girl wrote: “The most exciting news!
“We could not be happier that Brooklyn and Nicola are getting married!
“Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much.”
Keen to kick off the celebrations David uploaded a snap of him hitting the cocktails as part of his ongoing partnership with Haig Club.
The sporting legend shared a snap of him knocking back the whisky giant’s new cocktail collection.
Bringing the party to people’s front doors amid the ongoing social distancing rules, Haig Club have partnered with Mac & Wild to create a “Cocktail Minibar” of 4 new drinks.
The cocktails are available for delivery via Amazon Prime, Deliveroo and Master of Malt.
