Davina McCall sent Big Brother fans into meltdown tonight after referencing her time on the iconic reality TV show while hosting the BBC show coronavirus show The Big Night In.
The TV legend, who shot to fame when she hosted Big Brother on Channel 4, couldn’t help but repeat her show catchphrase during a live segment on the Covid-19 show.
Speaking from the BBC studio, Davina was patched in to various families around the UK who are set to cut their own hair to help raise money for charity.
Davina said: “This is Davina. You are live on BBC One please do not swear.”
During eviction shows of Big Brother, the starlet would always kick of the big reveal of the results by telling housemates: “Big Brother house this is Davina.
“You are live on Channel 4 please do not swear.”
While Davina didn’t directly name drop Big Brother during her Big Night In stint, the reference didn’t go missed by fans.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Hearing Davina McCall saying ‘You’re live on BBC One, please do not swear’ just mad a few of us think of Big Brother.”

Meanwhile, a third continued: “Davina, can you please say Big Brother house, this is Davina and I’ll donate big. I’ve wanted to hear you say it one more time. PLEASE! #TheBigNightIn.”
Clearly feeing in a playful mood, Davina’s co-host Matt Baker joking interrupted: “Yet” after Davina warned the families to keep their language clean.

“What has happened to you? You’ve completely gone off the rails.”
