Dog The Bounty Hunter reunites with daughter Lyssa after bitter feud

Dog The Bounty Hunter has finally rekindled his relationship with Lyssa and other members of the clan after a length family feud which tarnished their bond.

The family have put their differences aside and reunited in honour of their late mum and wife Beth, who tragically lost an 18 month battle with lung cancer last year.

Duane Chapman, who is better known as Dog on his reality show joined Lyssa, 32, stepdaughter Cecily, 26, and grandchildren Dakota and Madalynn at a charity event in Hawaii.

Insiders revealed to The Sun that the family would like to move forward after months of fall out, especially between Dog and Lyssa, who are now in touch and on better terms again.

A source added: “Dog and Lyssa have always had their ups and downs like any family does.

“Right now they just want to put all the drama of the past few months in the past and move on.

“Everyone in the family is still grieving over Beth and still has a lot of healing to do.

“But they will always be family, they are working through it.”

This is the first trip for Dog to the island of Hawaii following Beth’s death and it hasn’t been easy for the 67-year-old reality star due to many fond memories and their wedding taking place on the tropical island.

The insider added: “It’s been an emotional trip for Dog because it’s the first time he’s been back to Hawaii since Beth passed

“It’s only been nine months so everything is still raw and there are memories of her everywhere.

“But attending the charity event together is a really positive step for both Dog and Lyssa and Cecily.”

The special trip to support the rehab charity on tropical Island means a lot to Dog and his family as the family had donated many goods after the loss of their mum and wife.

The source continued: “Dog was really touched seeing all the items being used.

“It’s a way of keeping Beth’s memory alive.”

Dog delivered an emotional speech at the Rehab centre but also managed to keep to crowd in good humour too.

He also shared snaps of himself with his family with his fans to showcase his reunion with loved ones once again after the public grievances were aired about Dog’s new girlfriend.

Lyssa in particular was quick to take to her own Twitter feed to slam Dog’s relationship with Moon Angell, who was a friend of her mum and even attended her parents wedding.

Disapproving of the new relationships she wrote: “You’re a disgusting woman.

“Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, is the lowest scum on the planet.”
