Dr. Christian Jessen has publicly labelled a colleague a “f**king crook” in an expletive-laden rant on Twitter.
The Embarrassing Bodies star called out the self-confessed “health activist” Dr Joseph Mercola after he advised people should use a DIY ventilator to treat covid-19.
Taking to social media, Dr Joseph Mercola explained to his 290,000 followers that all people need to cure coronavirus is a “nebulizer and hydrogen peroxide”.
He wrote: “Nebulized hydrogen peroxide therapy is an inexpensive and simple way to treat most viral respiratory illnesses.”

He added: “All you need is a nebulizer with a face mask that covers your mouth and nose, and common household hydrogen peroxide, available at most grocery stores and pharmacies.”
A nebulizer is a mask which changes medication from a liquid to a mist so you can inhale it easier into your lungs.
But the TV doctor wasn’t happy with the American’s advice and quickly called him out for his “dangerous bulls**t” on social media.

He quote-tweeted and exclaimed: “You are a shameless f**king crook. Reported for spreading dangerous bulls***.”
And the feeling was clearly mutual as Christian’s followers agreed with him as many branded Dr. Joseph “dangerous” for telling people to inhale bleach.
One wrote: “The same hydrogen peroxide that needs diluting before you can even use it safely on your skin. But sure let’s get a lung full.”

“Wow…I can’t believe he’s telling people to breathe in bleach,” another exclaimed.
It’s not the first time Dr Joseph Mercola has ended up in hot water over his misleading medical advice.
The US Food and Drug Administration has cautioned him on several occasions over illegal claims about products he sells on his website.
