Danny Dyer has revealed his anguish following the news his grandma was rushed to hospital with pneumonia.
Due to the pandemic, his elderly relative isn’t allowed any visitors while she’s recovering in hospital.
The EastEnders actor’s mum, Chris Dyer, shared the upsetting news about her mum on Twitter on Wednesday morning.
She wrote: “My little mum is in hospital with pneumonia. Not covid thank f***.
“I’m taking up parcels and phoning her, but not being able to visit her is f****** devastating.”

Her granddaughter, Dani Dyer, 24, replied by saying: “Hope she’s OK.”
“So do I! Love you xxx,” Chris replied.
“I know she is in the best place to get better.”
Danny’s tweet comes after his daughter was criticised for visiting her parents household during the lockdown, seemingly going against the government’s coronavirus guidelines.
The former Love Island winner previously revealed she has been quarantining with her on/off boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, but, judging by her latest Instagram posts, the reality TV star has also been popping round to her parents’ abode.
Following their brief split, the brunette bombshell explained she chose to isolate with her beau as they rekindled their romance after a month apart.
With the UK urged to stay inside in a bid to combat spreading the life-threatening disease, people have been told to not visit other households – something Dani appeared to previously stretch.

While in lockdown, Dani has been uploading pictures of herself alongside her mum, Jo Mas, on social media.
A short time after the government imposed the lockdown rules, she shared a short clip, posted at the end of March, of she and her mum showing off their dance moves.
Meanwhile, she also posted a video a few days later tucking into a roast at her parents’ home – which is a short drive from her own pad.
However, she previously advised her fans to follow the rules, telling them to “stay indoors”.
She added: “Please listen, it’s so important.”
