Redhead Ed Sheeran’s favourite café is keeping him an emergency stash of his favourite sauce.
One of the singer’s biggest fears is that he might one day run out of his own supply of tomato ketchup.
But the Dancing Goat Cafe has given him a dollop of special treatment.
A bottle has been placed inside a glass container with the message: “In case of Ed Sheeran”.
Ed’s sauce, as it is known by staff, takes pride of place inside the café, where the walls are adorned with albums signed by Sheeran. The owners are personal friends of the chart-topper, inset, and he even has a tattoo in tribute to the venue in Framlingham, Suffolk.

A friend of the owners said: “Ed is a frequent visitor to the café and is a family friend, so the owners of the Dancing Goat are very protective.
“He really likes to be treated like just another customer and often pops in for a coffee or a milkshake, which he adores.
“But when he has something to eat, ketchup is always there for him. It’s become a bit of standing joke.” Despite his globetrotting lifestyle, Ed is still fond of his hometown and spent £895,000 on a six-bedroom house close to the area.
It’s got its own stables, a games room and a wine cellar.

The café owners’ pal went on: “His love of tomato ketchup is absolutely genuine. He often says that his greatest fear in life is running out of ketchup.
“The sauce bottle in the glass case is an obvious talking point.”
They added: “A lot of people come to the café hoping to catch a glimpse of Ed and sometimes he gets asked for an autograph.
“But most of the locals are pretty cool about having a world-famous pop star drinking cappuccinos with them in their local coffee shop.”
