Ed Sheeran’s property empire is now worth £61.5m after he ‘bought new houses worth £4.5m in cash lockdown’, according to reports.
The Divide hitmaker splashed out on his new pads according to new documents from the singer’s firms Maverick Properties Limited and Maverick Commercial Properties Limited.
It looks like Ed paid cash up front for the homes as the documents don’t show any mortgage payments.
In February Ed reportedly owned 27 homes- including his sprawling estate estate in Suffolk, restaurant Bertie Blossoms and a mansion in London.
The grounds in his Suffolk estate is made up of a £850,000 modern home, and 16th century farmhouse worth £450,000.

There’s also a £925,000 four bed house also on the property, plus a £525,000 bungalow and a pub which he had made in 2017.
He owns a pad in Covent Garden in central London, as well as a pair of flats next to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, The Sun reports.
It is claimed Ed splashed out £4million on new houses next to his £19.8m London mansion to stop his neighbours moaning about the noise.
A source said at the time: “Ed’s had neighbours grumbling about noise before so when he got a chance to buy up the two houses next to his London home, he jumped at the chance.”
The Divide hitmaker is also the owner of rental properties in Whitechapel and Portobello Road.
