This is not the first time fans have thought Eminem was dead after some claimed they were convinced that he died in a car crash in 2007 and bosses replaced him with a cyborg.
Fans speculated lyrics in his 2014 track Cinderella Man confirms this when he raps: “That boy’s hot enough to melt hell, burn Satan too/ Fry his ass and put his ashes back together with glue.
“This game couldn’t afford to lose him/ how about you?”
Eminem celebrated being 12 years sober in April and shared a picture of his sobriety coin.
He captioned the picture on Twitter: “Clean dozen, in the books! I’m not afraid.”
The real Slim Shady has been open about his years of addiction and has marked the date each year with a similar photo.
He ended his years of drug abuse on April 20, 2008.
The rapper, who is reportedly isolating at his mansion in Detroit, MI with his daughter Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, was addicted to prescription pills Vicodin.

He even had a tablet tattooed on his left arm, Valium and Ambien.
Eminem went to rehab in 2005 to get treatment for his addiction to sleeping pills.
But in 2007, he spiralled out of control again and was hospitalised for a methadone overdose.
It wasn’t until 2008 that Eminem decided he wasn’t about to lose himself to drugs.
According to the New York Times, the rapper checked himself into rehab early that year and started the full 12-step program of a recovering addict.
Now, 12 years sober, Eminem remain closer to his daughter, Hailie, 24, more than ever before.
