Evacuate the Dance Floor singer Cascada tests positive for coronavirus

Every Time We Touch chart-topper Cascada, 38, has tested positive for coronavirus.

The blonde babe took to social media to confirm the news with her loyal fans.

Cascada, whose real name is Natalie Horler, said: “I’m afraid I have been tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I’m still getting used to the thought, but saying that – nothing much changes about my everyday life really.

“I’ve been self isolating for ages now anyway and now I’ll just not leave the house at all for the next 14 days and be in full blown quarantine.”

The European pop babe continued: “My case will most likely be mild, so the most important thing is to protect everyone else who may be at risk.

“So please continue to stay home! Lots of love, Nat x.”

To hammer her message home, she added the hash tag “stay home”.

On Tuesday morning, Cascada took to social media to inform her fans she had taken the test for COVID-19 as she “wanted to know for sure” if she had contracted the deadly virus.

Natalie explained that she had shelled out €128 for the test.

Cascada is the latest of a string of celebs who have spoken frankly about contracting the virus in a bid to stress the importance of keeping safe during these unpredictable times.

Last Friday, US TV host and Real Housewives boss Andy Cohen, who lives in New York City, pulled the plug on his show Watch What Happens Live after testing positive for COVID-19.

Taking to Instagram, Andy wrote: “After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for coronavirus.

“As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.

“I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”

On Monday evening, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson took the decision to put the whole of the UK into lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.

He said everyone must remain home as much as possible and only leave their houses for necessary journeys.
