Ferne McCann says she 'saved Danielle Armstrong's vagina' after hands-on advice

Ferne McCann has been labelled the “vagina saviour” by best friend Danielle Armstrong after she gave some advice about childbirth.

Danielle, 32, gave birth to her first child, a girl called Orla Mae, five months ago and Ferne, 30, had some top tips to avoid any unwelcome side effects downstairs happening.

During last week’s Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, Danielle spoke to her former TOWIE co-star pal about giving birth and how Ferne had saved the day.

The Essex beauty said: “I’d done my pelvic floor but I didn’t even tear. She was 8lbs 11, bear in mind, and I had a natural [birth] and I didn’t tear.”

Ferne was amazed, but Danielle added: “I’d done the thing, the perineal massage.”

Earlier this year, Ferne spoke to Danielle on First Time Mum and told her to massage the area between her vagina and bum to stretch the muscles and vaginal wall.

After hearing the news that Orla’s birth had gone well, Ferne joked: “I’ve basically saved your vagina.”

Danielle agreed, telling her: “You have saved my vagina. You are the vagina saviour.”

The reality starlets then toasted to Danielle’s vagina while sitting with glasses of wine in her back garden.

Despite Ferne saving her vagina, Danielle previously revealed she had “demanded” an epidural during the labour.

She said in a YouTube video about the birth: “I was screaming for it.”

Ferne previously revealed she’d started suffering from incontinence after giving birth to her little girl.

She said on Loose Women: “It is really embarrassing, there’s no two ways about it.”

Ferne welcomed her own little girl Sunday Skye back in 2017, and she will celebrate her daughter’s third birthday next month.

Last year, she threw Sunday a princess-themed party and transformed herself into Rapunzel by weaving pretty blue flowers into her long hair.

She had live entertainment from performers dressed up as other Disney Princesses, including Frozen character Elsa and Sleeping Beauty’s Aurora.

There was also an appearance from The Little Mermaid’s Ariel, who swapped her fin for legs for Sunday’s special day.

And even with restrictions in place due to Covid, Ferne is sure to celebrate her little girl’s big day in style this year.
