Gigi Hadid has broken her silence to confirm that she is, in fact, expecting her first child with Zayn Malik.
The Victoria’s Secrets angel revealed the news during an interview with US talk show host Jimmy Fallon.
Reports began circulating over the weekend after Gigi was seen sporting a small bump at her birthday party, with sources claiming she was around five months pregnant.
Opening their interview, Fallon said: “I’ve got to say… congratulations on expecting a baby!”
Thrilled with his comment, Gigi grinned from ear to ear as she put her hands together in front of her growing bump.
During a videolink interview, the 25-year-old said: “Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms
“We’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.”

Fallon advised the model to be “present” and enjoy every moment of her pregnancy, to which she replied: “Especially during this time. It’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”

Gigi revealed: “I was so excited that everything was bagel [themed]. Then I found out that Buddy the Cake Boss made my cake.
“I don’t know if it’s my hormones right now or quarantine emotions but I cried every five minutes for like an hour.
“Every time I thought that Buddy made my cake. I couldn’t stop crying.”

Daily Star Online revealed in February that Gigi had dropped a baby bombshell during an interview.
Speaking to i-D magazine about the future of her career she hinted: “I think that as I get older… well one day I’ll start a family and I don’t know if I will always be modelling.”
They had initially confirmed rumours of their relationship when Gigi appeared in Zayn’s debut solo video for his single Pillowtalk – which was reportedly written about her.
