Good Morning Britain ‘s weather expert Laura Tobin and presenter Charlotte Hawkins raised their voices on Wednesday’s show, as a conversation about cardboard animals took a fiery turn.
The GMB stars are both proud fans of arts and crafts, helping their young daughters to make animals and fun shapes out of recycled cardboard and paint.
However, their arty streaks took a competitive turn on today’s show, as they showed off the animals they had created with their little ones.
Charlotte, 45, and her daughter Ella Rose, five, had created a dinosaur using empty wine boxes, as she showed off the results on national telly.
Turning to Kate, Charlotte said: “Laura was laughing at it and saying ‘that’s very basic indeed’, but that’s my five-year-old!”

Laura, 39, clearly wasn’t impressed by Charlotte’s hard work, as she remarked: “Honesty is the best policy. I would have said ‘could have done better’.”
Host Kate Garraway, 53, was floored by her savage remark, as she exclaimed: “Laura!”
She then added: “Let’s have a look at competitive mums.”
However, when Laura showed off the cardboard creations she had made with her daughter Charlotte Blossom, two, the offended GMB host was quick to fight back.

In disbelief over the expert craftsmanship on display, Charlotte demanded: “How much of that did you let Charlotte do?”
With a bright red letterbox and a green cardboard crocodile popping up on the screen, Charlotte snipped that Laura “elbowed your two-year-old out of the way” to take over the arts and crafts session.
She added: “No, you told her what to put on it and where.”
Kate thankfully changed the subject, as she showed off the fun cardboard forts her children Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11, had made during the lockdown.

Putting tensions behind them as she went on to present the weather report, Laura congratulated viewers on recycling their cardboard.
Eco-conscious as ever, she remarked: “It’s so good that we’re reusing and upcycling there so well done guys.”
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6am on ITV.
