GMB’s Dr Sarah Jarvis shared a stunning throwback photo over Twitter last year, showing her graduation day back in the 80s.
The 57-year-old doc has replaced Dr Hilary Jones on Good Morning Britain in recent weeks, becoming a beloved fixture on the team as she dishes out healthcare guidance to viewers.
With the same mop of shiny red hair, the graduation photo showed the doctor wearing her cap and gown, with a pair of pearls looped around her neck.
Having studied medicine at both Cambridge and Oxford in the 80s, she went on to work as a GP at the Richford Gate Medical Practice in 1990.

Reflecting on her style at the time the photo was taken, Dr Sarah poked fun at her hairstyle, referring to iconic Duran Duran singer Simon LeBon.
In her caption, she said: “Just up visiting my father and found my old graduation photo. I think I was trying to emulate Simon LeBon’s hairstyle but look grown up at the same time.”
Taking to the thread below, Dr Sarah’s 27,600 followers praised the nostalgic snap, delighted to get a glimpse at her past as a student.

“You’ve hardly changed,” swooned a second.

After launching her career as a GP in the early 90s, Dr Sarah started making the pivot into broadcasting, appearing on shows such as The One Show and Jeremy Vine’s radio slot.
The brainy doc has also penned a number of books on medicine, including “A Woman’s Diagnose-it-yourself Guide to Health” and “Living Well, Dying Well”.
Her efforts have even caught the attention of the Queen, as she was awarded an MBE in 2018 for her services to Health.
And, with Dr Hilary due to return to the show this September, it means Dr Sarah has a few more weeks of screen time on GMB – much to fans’ delight.
