Chef Gordon Ramsay has been battered for charging almost £4 for toast.
A diner at his Heathrow Airport Plane Food eatery complained the TV chef’s pricey menu was difficult to stomach.
Teppy83 said on travel bible TripAdvisor he had already shelled out £14 on a cooked breakfast plus an extra £4.10 for a brew.
But he said it stuck in his throat when he was charged nearly £4 for toast.
He wrote: “I have eaten here before and both the food and service are pleasingly consistent – a cut above the standard airport fare. This time was breakfast and a nasty surprise came with the bill – £3.85 for toast!
“I can swallow £4.10 for coffee but toast should be part of the £14 breakfast.”

Another diner also complained about the sky-high prices at the restaurant in Terminal 5.
A traveller from Spain penned: “Would I go again? Not sure as I don’t think £70-plus pounds for two mains and two beers represented particularly good value.”

It is not the first time Ramsay, 53, who according to wealth-calculating website Celebrity Net Worth boasts a £170m fortune, has had a chewing over his wallet-busting grub.

His Savoy Grill fry-up got a roasting after it was revealed he was charging £19 for two eggs, bacon, a single sausage, a tomato and a mushroom.
Then he was accused of “joking” after serving a tiny steak and chips for £23 at his York & Albany restaurant in London.
Last week a diner accused him of dishing up a “child’s portion” Sunday lunch at the Savoy Grill for £56-a-head. It featured a single slice of beef, three roast potatoes, two carrots, plus broccoli and a Yorkshire pudding.
