Harry Enfield 'splits from wife of 23 years Lucy Lyster and leaves family home'

Comedian Harry Enfield has reportedly split from his wife Lucy Lyster, who he has been married to for 23 years, and vacated their family home.

The 59-year-old TV icon and 57-year-old fashion designer Lucy, who tied the knot in 1997, have allegedly seen their romance come to an end.

According to the Daily Mail, Harry has called time on their marriage and moved out of the family home they shared in Notting Hill, London.

A source alleged to the publication: “It’s very sad, but Harry is living elsewhere.”

Harry is reported to be leaning on a friend for support during this time, while Lucy is said to be “heartbroken”.

Lucy and Harry share three children together – Archie, 23, Poppy, 21, and Nell, 17.

In a past interview, Lucy opened up about how they first met.

She shared: “I didn’t have much of a take on who he was. When we were introduced it was, ‘Oh, this is Harry; he’s a comedian’.”

Lucy, who established children’s clothing brand Wild & Gorgeous, continued: “I fancied him from the outset and gradually I realised what a fantastically good and kind man he was.

“Harry and I have a lovely relationship. He is very generous with his words; very demonstrably loving. He tells me I’m beautiful — I never believe him, of course — and he’s very quick to say he loves me.”

Meanwhile, Harry told the BBC last year: “[Lucy] had no interest in my comedy and she’s passed that on to our children!”

Prior to Harry getting together with Lucy, he previously dated Keith Allen’s former wife Alison Owen, 59.
