Television star Harry Redknapp is set to return to our screens this evening as he joins the cast of Celebrity Gogglebox alongside his beloved wife Sandra.
The former I’m a Celebrity…. Get Me Out of Here! king of the jungle has spent the majority of his career as a footballer manager living on the south coast or in London.
Harry has lived on the Dorset coast for over 20 years and he and Sandra now live in a stunning £4 million beachside mansion in the exclusive Sandbanks area.
The reality star has previously admitted there were times he considered taking a job further north during his career but insists he will never move following the death of sister-in-law Pat.
Pat Lampard, mother of Chelsea and England legend Frank, passed away in April 2008 after a short battle with pneumonia.
Harry admits the unexpected passing of Sandra’s sister means he can never be too far away from his family.
Writing in his autobiography titled Harry, the former Tottenham Hotspurs boss penned: “I had known Pat almost as long as I had known Sandra, because of her relationship with Frank Lampard, my best friend at West Ham, and that probably changed how I viewed my life as a football manager.
“The number of clubs I have managed on the south coast gives something of a clue to the way I feel and the swiftness of Pat Lampard’s passing probably brought it home.
“The time I spend with Sandra is so precious. Pat died of pneumonia, 10 days after she was admitted to hospital – it was so unexpected and sudden.”

He added: “One moment she was here, the next gone, It was terribly traumatic for Sandra.
“I don’t think a day went by when she didn’t speak to her sister.”
Harry went on to reveal that his grandchildren are also a reason behind he and Sandra’s decision to stay put.
He wrote: “After that, I don’t think there was ever really a chance of me taking a job that kept me away from Sandra all week.

“She would have moved anywhere at first, obviously, but that was many years ago, and now we are settled and like where we are. it is home for us.
“The grandkids are down here, so moving away and staying up north wouldn’t work for me at all.”
Harry continued: “I think it brought home how much I relied on her, too. Seeing Frank without Pat made me think what I would be like on my own. Useless, really.
“She has waited on me hand and foot for years. I wouldn’t have a clue what to do without her support.”
Harry and Sandra will offer their views on the latest shows on telly tonight alongside the likes of Stacey Solomon and her partner Joe Swash, Love Island’s Iain Stirling and girlfriend Laura Whitmore and radio presenter Zoe Ball and her son Woody Cook.
Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm
