Holby City have given their devoted fans a glimpse at John Barrowman’s guest character role on the BBC programme.
The soap broke the news the Dancing On Ice judge would be starring in a special episode back in March, and have now released a sneak peek.
They’ve given fans some snaps of the TV star’s character, doctor Drew Nicholson-Heath’s arrival at the famous hospital.
John is seen suited-and-booted in one snap, while another shows him wearing scrubs.
His character Drew is reportedly a renowned global recruiter always on the lookout for talented surgeons to poach.
Drew’s appearance at the Darwin Ward prompts certain doctors to try and impress him.

John spoke about his stint on the show earlier this year, calling his role in the “iconic” BBC drama “fabulous”.
He said: “I was welcomed with open arms by the cast and crew and felt like part of the Holby City family right away.”
Giving fans some details about his brand new character, the actor explained: “My character Drew brings a new flavour to the show and I look forward to his return soon. Surgery will never be the same again.”

It’s been said that Drew Nicholson-Heath, who has some history with Ange Godard (Dawn Steel), will appear in one episode of the current series, but fingers crossed he’ll stick around on the BBC programme on a more permanent basis.
Holby City bosses recently revealed that a familiar face would be making a haunting appearance in a one-off episode.
Joe McFadden is making his return as Raf Di Lucca, despite the character being killed in 2017.

The show has not confirmed just how Raf will come back to the Darwin Ward, but it has been said he will appear while his widow Essie continues to struggle with her cancer battle.
Pictures reveal that Raf and Essie will sit together at the hospital, with the deceased character wearing his scrubs once again.
Holby City airs Tuesdays at 8pm on BBC One.
