Actress Tina Hobley has confessed she’d love to return to Holby City – and that her comeback as Chrissie Williams has been discussed with the show’s bosses.
The 48-year-old starred as Chrissie for 12 years before exiting the medical drama in November 2013.
However she could be back in Holby, as Tina said that she would love the chance to come back whenever it fits with the drama’s storyline.
She told the Sun Online: “We’ve talked about it. She’s alive and kicking, so you never know. There might be a time when it fits in with their stories. I’d love that.”

Holby City viewers last saw Chrissie running away to Australia with her son Daniel, meaning there’s plenty of opportunity for her to return.
In real life, actress Tina took a break from her acting career to raise her children Bella, now 21, Olivia, 12, and Orson, 10.
But now that her kids are grown up or settled at school, Tina is ready for a big return to our screens.

And while Holby City might not be on the cards just yet, Tina did confirm that she has something coming up that she’s working on.
She said: “I miss [acting] terribly. I miss it so much. There’s something later in the year I’m discussing with a producer TV-wise.”
For now though, Tina is in lockdown with her three children and husband Oliver Wheeler at their country home.
As well as Holby City, Tina had roles on Coronation Street as Samantha Failsworth and The Bill as Sue Booker.
She took part in dangerous reality series The Jump in 2016, but pulled out after dislocating her shoulder, breaking her arm and rupturing her anterior cruciate ligament.
Away from television, the mum-of-three presented a drive-time show on radio station Smooth London between January 2017 and July 2019.
