“We were recently approached with the opportunity to provide ITV with exclusive use of our site until the end of 2020 as they film I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here on the neighbouring Gwrych Castle Estate.”
They went on to say: “This unique opportunity provides us with the ability to invest in the farm and continue with our exciting plans for 2021 and beyond. As such, we will be closed for the remainder of the 2020 season.”
Ahead of the announcement, bosses at the attraction revealed they would be closing their doors to the public.

Speculation was rife suggesting that ITV bosses had chosen North Wales as the new location, following the news Australia had closed their borders due to the coronavirus.
Dr Mark Baker, Chair of the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust said: “I’m absolutely delighted that I’m A Celebrity has chosen Gwrych Castle to be its UK location for the 2020 series.
“Gwrych Castle is a beautiful grade I listed 19th-century country house and a must-see destination for tourists visiting Wales.
“I’m A Celebrity being here will really help support Gwrych Castle and its ongoing restoration as well as giving the region a much-needed economic boost.”
