I’m A Celebrity will head to Wales in a stark contrast to the current set-up in a sweltering jungle, it has been reported.
The popular show which is filmed in New South Wales, Australia is now rumoured to be set in North Wales in freezing temperatures, which will prove to be a new challenge for contestants.
The set up will see campmates competing for luxuries such as hot water as they brave the cold, according to The Sun.
Coronavirus restrictions have pushed ITV bosses to relocate the camp, which is filmed in an Australian jungle with temperatures of around 22C.

Celebrities will now be forced to battle for the title of the “King or Queen of the castle” in temperatures around 8.5C.
Speaking on the filming in the UK, Richard Cowles, Director of Entertainment at ITV Studios said: “Our celebrities will probably have to swap shorts for thermals.”
He added: “They can still look forward to a basic diet of rice and beans and plenty of thrills and surprises along the way.”
With this change, I’m A Celebrity will hold the 2020 series in the UK for first time ever.
This comes as border restrictions meant it would be impossible to bring the celebs and their loved ones to Australia.

Challenges will also be adapted to the new location with the possibility of eating sheep’s genitals rather than kangaroo testicles.
The Australian theme may also be replaced with a local equivalent, such as medieval history reports The Sun.
However, the outlet reports ITV bosses are keen to keep the original feel of the show, with the same outfits, however with added layers to protect against the cold weather.
Relocating to the UK would also mean saving more money which could go towards booking more high profile celebrities.
A source speaking to The Sun said: “Let’s be honest — going to Australia, taking the family and staying at the five-star Versace hotel is a pretty appealing proposition.

“The reality is Wales in November isn’t going to have anything like the same sort of draw.
“So it might well come down to cash deals on offer to stop people saying they’d rather not bother this year. Hopefully the extra budget will help make it a bumper year — and it’s also about getting the right mix, not just the biggest names.”
The show will be broadcast live every night from a ruined castle in the countryside.
