Inside Corrie star Lucy Fallon's Blackpool home with egg chairs and quirky decor

She may have lived up north when she starred in Coronation Street, but there’s no place like home for Lucy Fallon.

The 24-year-old actress, who played Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, was born and bred in Blackpool and lives in a beautiful property there.

Lucy often shows off her home on social media and it seems she’s a fan of funky decor and keeping her surroundings super tidy.

The blonde star is a fan of taking mirror selfies, and it seems she has the perfect place to do so at home – her very own dressing room.

The glam space features a white dressing table, complete with a mirror and lights as well as a checked rug and shelves for Lucy to keep all of her beauty products.

But when she’s not posing up a storm in her dressing room, Lucy can sometimes be found chilling in her funky bedroom which comes complete with stand out animal-print wallpaper.

The former soap star likes to keep cosy in the winter with fleece bedding on her double bed, and brightens up the space with some cool lightning-bolt neon lights.

Sharing a glimpse of her colourful boudoir with her 509,000 followers, Lucy revealed her love of vibrant textiles and patterns.

Captioning the photo on Instagram, she wrote: “I have been pinning pictures on Pinterest for over two years of how I wanted this room to look and finally it is how I always imagined it would be (but even better).”

Another place where Lucy no doubt likes to relax is her large living room, which features a huge grey sofa with plenty of cushions and a sleek coffee table.

When she has friends and family over, Lucy likely entertains them in her dining room which has a large wooden dining table, plush chairs and funky patterned wallpaper.

The table is positioned in front of large patio doors which lead out to Lucy’s cute garden which is complete with decking and egg chairs – perfect for lounging in the summertime.

But Lucy does have some help when it comes to kitting out her home – her dad.

She recently revealed that her dad was putting up new wallpaper which is covered in lemurs.

“Yep, he’s a lemur,” she joked as she revealed the exotic print.

Lucy is also planning to experiment with more vibrant paint colours as she shared a paint swatch adorned with bright shades.

She spent lockdown in her home with her then-boyfriend Tom Leech, and often posted loved-up pictures of them together.

However, the former flames reportedly split back in August, bringing their four-year relationship to an end.

Lucy left Coronation Street earlier this year to pursue other projects and is set to star in the ITV reality show Don’t Rock the Boat in 2020.
