James Argent has admitted he wants to feature in the 10th anniversary special of TOWIE – claiming it “wouldn’t feel right” without him in it.
James, who starred in the show between 2010 and 2018, stepped down from the cast because of his battles with addiction.
The actor has now claimed in an interview that the milestone birthday celebration, due to air later this year, wouldn’t work without him.
It comes after he announced this week that he has been a cocaine addict for seven years.
Arg, 32, said: “I’m proud to say I was on it from Day One and I feel like it’s my baby but in terms of coming back and being a full time cast member, I think that chapter in my life has closed.

“There is talk of a ten year anniversary reunion and I don’t feel like you can have one unless I’m in it, right?”
Arg reckons “golden age” of Towie was it’s early days when actors like his best pal Mark Wright and Amy Childs featured.
The pair have been linked with a return to the show along with Joey Essex for the 10th anniversary special.
The show is also believed to feature ex-stars Lucy Mecklenburgh and Arg’s ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.
Args still fancies appearing on reality TV and said he wouldn’t mind going on Dancing On Ice or Strictly Come Dancing.
He said shows like Dancing on Ice would be perfect for him as it would allow him to improve his fitness, learn a new skill and entertain.

He added: “I’m an entertainer and performer. I’ll avoid shows that are more focused on drama and rowing.”
James revealed he nearly died twice after overdosing on cocaine.
The TOWIE star, 32, told in an interview how he has been addicted to the drug for seven years – causing his friends and family to fear he might die.
