Former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has revealed his regrets about not trying to become a dad sooner after he and wife Ola Jordan went through a three year IVF struggle.
The 42-year-old, who is married to Ola Jordan, who was also a professional ballroom dancer on the hit BBC show, confessed to putting his career before having children.
As new parents to five-month-old Ella, James seems to have had a change of heart, rather than prioritising cars and a nice home, he wished he’d started his family sooner.
James and Ola have always been open with regards to the conception of their baby daughter Ella, with the pair struggling to fall pregnant naturally.

The TV favourites were fortunate enough to welcome their beautiful baby daughter into the world in February after one successful bout of IVF treatment.
James and Ola are both completely overjoyed with their bundle of joy, with both of their Instagram feeds now awash with cute snaps of their new edition as opposed to snippets in the sparkly Strictly attire.
Speaking to The Sun about wishing he had become a dad sooner, James said: “If I could turn back time, I probably would have had kids, yes.
“We have always focused on our careers, making money, having a nice house and car, but I’ve always been a saver. Neither of us are big spenders.
“I now feel like all the material things are not important.”

James also opened up about how life as father has changed his perception completely, James opened up about wanting to race home to Ella, instead of hitting a few golf balls.
He said: “I used to have an opinion on blokes who were bringing up children and was told I wouldn’t understand until I had my own.
“Many of my friends who are dads would say to me, ‘I’m going home to the kids’, and I used to think, ‘What, to change s**tty nappies and hear all that screaming?

“‘You’d prefer that to playing 18 holes on a golf course?’ But I look at everything differently these days.
“Now I can’t wait to get home and see my baby.”
The pair who have been an item for more than 20 years, parked their hopes and dreams of becoming parents for a significant period of time in order to prioritise their showbiz careers in the spotlight.
Family plans were put on hold after the pair tied the knot in 2003, not only due to Strictly work schedules but Ola’s stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2016 and James taking centre stage on Big Brother a month later.
When the right time had finally arrived for the couple to have children, the couple realised after three years of trying, conception would not happen naturally and turned to IVF instead.
