Award winning actress Jennifer Aniston reflects on past times and the on-going 15 year feud with her mother Nancy Dow.
Back in 2019, Jennifer spoke about her relationship with her mum in an intimate interview, confessing that after she had reflected, she now knew her mum “wasn’t trying to be a b***h”.
It is no secret that Jen and Nancy had fallen out in the past and that the pair didn’t seem to see eye-to-eye.
In 1999, Nancy released a book that spilled intimate secrets about their on-going feud in the tell-all book, sparking the 15 year feud.
This allegedly led to a huge fall-out, with Nancy finding herself uninvited to the Hollywood stars swanky wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000 after Jennifer discovered what she had written about her.

Although it would seem that there had been cracks in their relationship long before Jen even hit the big screens in Hollywood.
Speaking to Elle magazine, Jen spoke candidly about her relationship with her mum, confessing she wasn’y “trying to be a b***h” but still caused her “deep wounds”.
The Friends star spoke freely about her parent’s failed marriage and how childhood had became difficult and that she became “emotionally drained” by her mum at this point.

Speaking about her childhood and her mum’s persona, Jen said: “She was from this world of, ‘honey, take better care of yourself,’ or ‘honey, put your face on’ or all of those odd sound bites that I can remember from my childhood.”
But it seemed that Jen had since dug deep and managed to forgive her mum, adding: “My mom said those things because she really loved me.
“It wasn’t her trying to be a b***h or knowing she would be making some deep wounds that I would then spend a lot of money to undo.
“She did it because that was what she grew up with.”

Now older and wiser, Jen, now 51-year-old, can see that her mum may have struggled as a single parent.
“I think she was just holding on and doing the best she could, struggling financially and dealing with a husband who was no longer there.
“Being a single mom in the ’80s I’m sure was pretty cr*ppy.”
It was the release of Nancy’s book From Mother and Daughter to Friends, that was the final straw and tarnished their relationship in the end.
Nancy was banished from Jen’s life after the publication had launched, with the pair not speaking for years.
It was just before her mothers death in 2016, that they had finally managed to make amends and patched things up.
