Jeremy Clarkson has lashed out at Prince Harry for going “a bit mad” in a rant about the likelihood of rhinos going extinct.
The former Top Gear host wrote about the horrors of poachers killing the animals for their horns as it’s believed they are a “hangover cure” and can “give men erections that last a month”.
He went on to talk about the practice of de-horning rhinos as a deterrent which Prince Harry was involved with, but added that hunters would kill hornless rhinos anyway to prevent tracking it again.
Jeremy explained: “Throughout China and south east Asia, rich people have got it into their idiotic heads that rhino horn can cure hangovers and give men erections that last for a month.

“And this utter tosh has created a multi-million-pound trans-continental smuggling trade.
“Before he went a bit mad, Prince Harry spent some time in Africa, helping to de-horn rhinos,” he added in his The Sun column.
This isn’t the first time the Who Wants to be a Millionaire presenter has spoken negatively of the father-of-one, who stepped down as a Senior Royal in March this year.
In another rant about the Prince, Jeremy said the television shows, which will come from their recent mega bucks Netflix deal, will be “drivel” and “just awful”.
Jeremy said of the couple: “They will be drivel. £100million to make shows and films that inform and give hope? Kill me.”
Meghan and Harry said in a statement: “Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.
“As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”
