Jodie Marsh shares heartbreak as she says goodbye to mum in emotional funeral

Jodie Marsh has taken to social media to pay tribute to her late mum Kristina by posting her emotional eulogy online.

The former glamour model proudly spoke about her mum during the intimate funeral this week, which was live streamed online due to Covid-19 social distancing rules.

Standing at the front of Bentley Crematorium in Brentwood, Jodie, 41, explained how her mum had been her rock throughout her life.

Speaking about her mum’s bond with her boyfriend Billy Collins-Nuttall, Jodie said: “She adored Billy and Billy adored her, they had their own unique bond and I take great comfort from that.

“Mostly, though, I take comfort from the fact Mum finally got to see me truly happy and in love. It was all she ever wanted for me and I’m so grateful that she got to know and love Billy.

“I know that she knew Billy would be there for me and take care of me, and I know she knew that Billy is the one I’ve been waiting all my life for.”

The starlet then went to recite a quote about finding inner strength.

Jodie continued: “I want to include this quote a friend gave me recently.

“This is just a tiny section of my speech yesterday.

“We are going to get the whole recording of the service but I’m so grateful to Lorraine for filming this while watching it live online.

“I watched it all back last night in bed and it gave me comfort.

“Mum would have loved the service and all the speeches. It was so beautiful.”

Kristina passed away on September 23rd after battling cancer.

Announcing the news online, Jodie wrote: “My beautiful, classy, kind, generous, clever, incredible mum passed away this morning. She was my best friend and the strongest woman I know.

“She was the best mum in the world & the best human you could ever wish to know. I love you so so much mum. How do I do this without you?”
