John Fashanu dragged off Celebrity SAS co-star after 'choking' him in headlock

John Fashanu was reportedly forced apart from his Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins co-star after he “choked” him in a headlock.

The 57-year-old ex-footballer got Rudimental DJ Locksmith in a headlock after he claimed the former Wimbledon “Crazy Gang” striker the weakest in the celebrity team.

They were dragged apart and separated by the Channel 4 show’s instructor and former soldier, Ant Middleton, 39.

The fiery row happened during a game of “murderball” which saw contestants fight for possession of a tyre and push it over the opposing team’s goal.

Locksmith, who’s real name is Leon Rolle, 32, explained: “He wasn’t able to control himself. I could see the red in his eyes. I could see his blood boiling.

“So as I was going for the tyre, he threw me to the ground and got me in a headlock and wouldn’t let go, he starts strangling me. It was a bit uncalled for.”

John added: “I strangled him — that’s showbiz. If you put two known winners together at that level, you’re going to have an explosion.

“I knew what I was doing! I attempted to strike him three or four times.”

His co-stars, including TV stars Joey Essex, Helen Skelton, and Anthea Turner, were reportedly “furious with his behaviour”.

Katie Price is on the brand new series of Celebrity SAS, and she opened up about a horrifying gun-point kidnap attempt before she was even on the show.

She revealed during filming that she has survived a fifth kidnap attempt.

The 41-year-old former glamour model told Ant: “I am not here for sympathy I’m just saying.

“I have been through a lot of s*** and I am still going through it.

“I don’t even know where to start. My fifth kidnap threat I got two weeks ago.

“My mum was told she was terminally ill last year, then my horse escaped on my front road and it died in my hands.

“My german shepherd dog got run over on my drive way and then I was held at gun point.”

The mum-of-five continued: “It was in South Africa with my kids.

“That is the first time I have ever had a proper gun to my head thinking we are going to die.

“It was f***ing horrific.”

Celebrity SAS airs on Channel 4 on Mondays at 9pm
