The director of Jurassic World 3 has finally confirmed that the name of the much-anticipated sequel will be Dominion.
Work is underway on the upcoming movie ahead of its release in June 2021, with fans finally learning ofthe title after much speculation.
Colin Trevorrow, who has written and directed the film, gave away the title in an exciting social media shot on the first day of filming.
In the image, a production assistant grips a clapper board that reads ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ whilst on set in Canada.
In a simple caption he wrote ‘Day One #JurassicWorld’.
The action-packed film is the third film in the series, and follows after Jurassic Word and its sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The movie will feature some incredible dinosaur visuals and will see the return of much loved cast members such as Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Daniella Pineda.
Whilst speaking from the red carpet recently, lead actor Chris teased that the movie will “be the biggest and best yet.”
He then went on to tease that the upcoming movie will be similar to the Avengers trilogy, where all the original cast returned to the screen.
“‘It’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together for Marvel,” the veteran actor said in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
Much to the excitement of the saga’s loyal fanbase, cast members from the original movie series Jurassic Park will also star in the upcoming film.
It’s been confirmed that among the returning stars will be Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum.

“Wow, somebody in this thread actually got it. Respect,” the director wrote in a thread of 26 guesses.
In what appears to have been a strange move, however, ‘Dominion’ was actually not listed in the Twitter suggestions.
