Sharing the uplifting number amid civil unrest in the wake of George Floyd’s death, the ‘Homesick’ crooner announces that all proceeds will benefit the Boys And Girls Clubs of America.

AceShowbizKane Brown has come out with an uplifting song in the midst of the Black Lives Matter protests. On Thursday, June 4, the “What Ifs” hitmaker released “Worldwide Beautiful” with the hope that it could bring people together during these difficult times in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

In an Instagram announcement he made hours prior to the release, the 26-year-old crooner explained that he had been holding onto this song produced by Dann Huff for a year. He added that all proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of America to advocate for justice and equality for the millions of youth.

In the chorus of the song, the American Music Awards winner sings about seeing past each other’s skin color. “You’re missing every color/ If you’re only seeing black and white/ Tell me how you’re gonna change your mind/ If your heart’s unmovable,” he croons. “We ain’t that different from each other/ From one to another, I look around/ And see worldwide beautiful.”

“Worldwide Beautiful” came out hot on the heels of Brown’s new single “Cool Again”. It is expected to be included on the “Homesick” singer’s upcoming album.

Brown has previously talked about the song. During an interview with Billboard in November 2019, the father of one teased, “I got a song called ‘Worldwide Beautiful’ – this is also my tour name.” He elaborated, “It’s a song about meaning. It brings up color, that I’m really excited about. I’m really excited to show it to the world.”

In regards to the protests over the death of George Floyd that have taken over the country, Brown first shared his thought on Twitter. “We will never see peace in this world until we ALL see each other as PEOPLE,” he tweeted. “We will never understand each other when you have people on 2 different sides. We have to become 1 to be at peace.”

The “Lose It” singer later shared a capture of the tweet on his Instagram account. Along with it, he wrote, “I’ve been trying to think of how to say this as easy as possible and not be bashed because of the different sides. I hate confrontation but this is the truth whether you wanna Believe it or not.” He added, “any questions I’ll answer as many as I can.”
