Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway posted a video of her son William, who made a Lego version of his family, with his dad included.
In the video, William pointed out all of the different family members, including his grandparents and sister, and pointed to his dad Derek who took pride of place at the front as the figures gathered around him.
Derek is currently critically ill in hospital after being diagnosed with coronavirus, and is currently on a ventilator.
He was taken to hospital on March 30, and Kate has been sharing weekly updates of his condition with her followers.
Kate revealed that she and her two children, Darcey and William, had FaceTimed Derek during the NHS clap, as she speculated about whether he could hear them or not.

She has been unable to see her husband while he battles the virus in hospital, and she shared her delight at being able to see his face with her fans.
Kate posted: “So our #nhsclap was a little different tonight. We still clapped & cheered as much as ever but I couldn’t film on my phone as had Derek on FaceTime throughout!
“Of course we can’t KNOW but I believe he can hear us & thought at least the incredible @nhs team’s looking after him would hear a fraction of our gratitude.

“Billy made this for his Dad’s carers to show how much he means to our family & to say thank you for fighting to bring him back to us. I am hoping they will let Derek have it by his bed.
“But even if they can’t THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts – you are superheroes . Love to all in these terrible times – the separation from loved ones whatever the reason is so tough.”
Kate also posted on her blog earlier to thank her fans for their support during the difficult time, as she posted: “I wanted to send a huge thank you to all of you who have sent me such wonderful messages wishing Derek well. It has meant the world to me.
“I am sorry I have not been able to reply to them individually, as I am sure you will understand that I am focusing on my family and Derek right now.”
“In quieter moments I am reading all of your messages and they are so comforting and wonderful to read.”
GMB continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
