Katie Price has left people in the disabled community seething after she spoke about her life-changing injuries which have seen her become wheelchair-bound.
The former Page 3 icon has left some angry after she claimed being left in a wheelchair was “humiliating” before questioning why her boyfriend, Carl Woods, is still in a relationship with her.
Reality star Katie is currently using a pink wheelchair and electric scooter to help get around after she broke both her feet and ankles while on holiday.
Pricey has previously said she was messing around on a night out when she jumped over a “small wall”, which she later discovered had a staggering 25ft drop on the other side.

Since sustaining her injuries, the singer has undergone extensive surgery on both feet with metal plates inserting in order to rebuild them.
Katie also announced that she may not walk properly for another two years.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “Everything has hit me so hard, not only am I in a wheelchair but I have to learn to walk again and I’m disabled. It’s humiliating.

“I feel so embarrassed being pushed around. People treat me differently and I don’t know why my boyfriend stays with me.”
The mum-of-five who says she feels helpless went on to say: “And I feel sorry for Carl because he’s such a 6ft 2in, handsome, gorgeous man, and I bet people look at him and think, ‘Look at you having to push her around in a wheelchair’.
“I look at the reflection in the shop windows, it’s demoralising, the heartbreak.”

Speaking about her feet, she admitted that they currently resemble “something from a horror film.”
Social media users soon hit out, with one penning: “People treat me differently’, welcome to our world. Also, it’s not humiliating to be disabled. It might be hard, just deal with it, that’s what we have to do when we don’t have full support from the government and can’t have access to everything an able-bodied person can.”
A second added: “Not only am I in a wheelchair but I have to learn to walk again and I’m disabled. It’s humiliating’ @KatiePrice This is such dangerous language. I’m also disabled and learning how to walk again. It’s empowering. It’s humbling. It’s beautiful. Equal not less!”
Since being slammed on social media, a spokesperson for Ms Price told Mirror Online : “Katie herself is deeply sorry that her words in a recent interview have been taken out of her own personal account.
“Katie was was not relating to anyone else but herself, her own feelings, expressing her personal feelings on her horrific accident not in or about or aimed at those in wheelchairs or disabled, this was an account of her own feelings.
“Katie asks that those she has unwittingly offended grant her forgiveness as she never intended her words to be taken or dreamed to be offensive or detrimental in any way and is sorry for any upset caused as they were never intended to be taken in this way.”
