Kelly Preston’s cause of death has been confirmed as breast cancer on her official death certificate.
US Weekly cites the document claiming that the Jerry Maguire actress and mum-of-three passed away on July 12 at 11.46am.
Preston, who had been married to John Travolta for 29 years, was just 57 years-old when she died.
The publication adds the actress was transported to a funeral home near her house in Florida before being taken to the Brockville Crematory in Brooksville, Florida.
Grease actor Travolta announced her death via Instagram on July 13.

In an emotional post, John, 66, said: “It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer.
“She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered, I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.

“But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal.”
Preston’s daughter Ella said: in an online tribute: “I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you.
“Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy.”

During her impressive career, Preston starred in a range of hit films including 1988 comedy Twins alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.
In 1999 Preston appeared in rom-com For the Love of the Game alongside Kevin Costner.
