One Direction fans have expressed their concern for Liam Payne after his older sister Ruth claimed she was worried for him.
Ruth, 29, took to her Twitter page to question whether the Strip That Down singer is “strong enough” to deal with the negativity that is thrown his way on a daily basis.
Liam, 26, was catapulted into the eyes of the world when he auditioned for The X Factor before being put in One Direction by Simon Cowell.
In 2017, he became a father to Bear who he shares with former X Factor judge, Cheryl Tweedy.
His sister has now revealed that his intense level of fame might be a heavy burden on the dad-of-one.

Despite rarely tweeting, Ruth last took to the platform at the start of the month to tweet about The Greatest Dancer.
Following last nights BRIT Awards, Ruth praised Liam’s former bandmate Harry Styles before turning her attention to her hitmaker brother.

She said: “I don’t use twitter alot anymore as this is the darkest place I’ve seen in the past in regards to comments about my brother and every day it makes me worry if he’s strong enough to take that much negativity in public daily, so it really is such a personal message #bekind [sic]”.
Ruth continued that she hopes people will “spread happiness” rather than hatred.
She added: “So spread happiness, be funny without hurting peoples feelings and push each other to succeed #bekind”.

Liam’s legion of fans were concerned for the singer and flocked to the reply section of Ruth’s tweet, with one saying: “Tell Liam that we love him. He is one of the strongest people ever. We are SO proud of him and everything he achieved.”
A second added: “Please tell him his fans on here loves him a lot and want him to be happy always!!!”
While a third tweeted: “Tell Liam that we love him so much and we will always support him no matter what.”
