Linda Nolan has made a heartbreaking admission following her cancer diagnosis.
The singing icon recently revealed she has been secretly undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Blackpool Victoria Hospital alongside her older sister, Anne Nolan.
Singers Anne and Linda were catapulted to worldwide fame as a member of the sister girl band, The Nolan’s famed for their hit single I’m In The Mood (For Dancing).
The siblings received the devastating news just days after they returned from filming The Nolan’s Go Cruising.
Recalling the moment that they both received the shattering news, in true Linda style – she quipped: “We laughed and we cried really. It’s hysterical.

“Forget the Chemical Brothers, we’ve become the Chemo Sisters.”
Speaking to The Sun, Linda added: “It’s just really hard and I’m scared of dying. I don’t want to die.
“I want to be around and see my great-nieces and nephews grow up, and that’s why I’m putting everything I’ve got into trying to get well.”

While a tearful Anne added: “I don’t want to die.
“I love my life so much.
“I love my daughters, my grandchildren, my friends, all my family.
“I want to live for as long as I possibly can.
“I am scared of dying as well.
“Even though I believe in God, I’m still scared.”
Linda’s incurable cancer is in her liver, her third recurrence after battling breast cancer in 2006, cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm in 2007 as well as secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.

While Anne’s breast cancer has returned at stage three, with stage four being the most serious.
The Nolan family were dealt a devastating blow in 2013 when their sister Bernie and lead singer of The Nolan’s passed away from cancer.
Speaking about treatment and recovery, Linda, who finishes her chemotherapy in September went on to tell the paper: “I’m just praying that it will and I can have palliative care.”
While Anne will either undergone a mastectomy or lumpectomy – which is likely to be followed by radiotherapy.
She said: “I’ll just take the doctor’s advice on all that. I’m really not bothered about my boobs.”
