Elizabeth Hurley risked ending up in hot water with her Instagram following after she posted a photo of her cat killing a rabbit.
Taking to the photo-sharing app, the mum-of-one heaped praised on her beloved moggy Mitzi after the “beastly” feline protected her lettuce patch by attacking the rabbit.
The picture featured her cat in the garden with a rabbit in between its gnashers.
Under the post, she wrote: “Mitzi is 16-years-old and still at it… beastly cat (but my lettuces are happy).”

Sharing in an Instagram post, the star considered herself to be “incredibly lucky” to be in quarantine surrounded by rolling hills and opened up about how the Hurleys are faring in lockdown.
“In these scary times I feel incredibly lucky to live in the countryside and have lots of outside space,” she began.
‘As well as my son, I have seven other people living with me including my 79 year old mother and her sister- also in her late 70s- and one of my best friends who is in the highest risk group with severe respiratory problems.”
Liz confessed that while she’s happy with the company, she has turned into a chef for the group.
“Keeping everyone as safe as possible (and fed) is a full time job,” she added.
“We all are full of the highest admiration for our wonderful NHS staff and are doing everything we can to not add to their burden.”
