Liz Hurley's film producer ex Steve Bing 'jumps to death from apartment'

Film producer and businessman Steve Bing has died after jumping to his death from an apartment, it has been reported tonight.

Steve, who dated Liz Hurley and is the father of her son, Damian, was just 55.

TMZ reported that the famed writer and film producer died after jumping from the 27th floor of a swanky Los Angeles apartment building in the Century City area.

It’s believed that Steve lived in the building and sources claimed he had been depressed following the lack of human interaction since the world went into lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic but the reason behind his suicide is unknown.

The multi-millionaire film financer dropped out of Stanford University after inheriting around £480 million from his grandfather, before launching Shangri-La Entertainment.

Steve found his big break after becoming the executive producer of the 2000 hit film, Get Carter, which starred Sylvester Stallone.

He later went on to publish Kangaroo Jack in 2003 before investing almost £80 million, half of the production budget in The Polar Express.
