Loose Women's Stacey Solomon slams mummy-shamers as she lets Rex play in the sun

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has hit back at moaning mummy-shamers who have slammed the former X factor star for letting her 10-month-old son Rex play in the sunshine at the weekend.

The mother of three was slammed by keyboard critics as she supervised her baby son in the sunshine during the mini heatwave over the weekend.

Stacey, 30, has been making the most of the lovely British weather by spending some time in the garden with her three sons and television presenter boyfriend Joe Swash during the coronavirus lockdown.

However, furious fans put a massive cloud over Stacey and her families fun in the sun when they noticed from social media that baby Rex was spending time in the glorious sunshine.

Stacey has been updating fans on her time in isolation on social media by sharing several snaps of her young family on her personal Instagram account.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Stacey revealed she had received lots of unpleasant messages from those who had criticised her over her son’s time in the outdoors.

She said: “To the many messages I’ve received from Susan’s still concerned about the temperature of my child – too hot in the sun, too cold in the tent.

“Seriously though, it must really keep you up at night.”

She continued: “All I can suggest is…” as she burst into Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds song.

“Don’t worry about a thing, because every little thing is gonna be alright,” she sang.

The star then joked: “Sing it with me, Susan!” as she burst into heaps of laughter.

Stacey didn’t let the online trolls bother her as she later admitted that she was “living her best life” as she held a champagne flute full of Bombay mix in her hand.

The telly favourite recently shared a hilarious clip with fans in which she asks beau Joe was he hadn’t proposed to her yet.

Like the rest of the country, Stacey and Joe have been spending a lot of time together and it appears that the pair are enjoying winding each other up.

Stacey recorded herself lip syncing to Aretha Franklin’s tune Respect and getting on with some housework.

But Dancing On Ice champion Joe didn’t look impressed when his girlfriend then decided to jump on him.

Stacey pulled a cheeky grin towards the camera as she wound Joe up while he was relaxing.

“Happy Thursday! Hope you’re all ok!” she wrote.

“Sometimes I wonder why he hasn’t proposed yet?”

We’re sure the wedding bells are not too far away for these two.
