Love Island Molly-Mae speaks out on pregnancy rumours after baby shoe photo

Love Island ‘s Molly-Mae Hague was forced to deny she was pregnant this week after fans started speculating after laying eyes on a photo of baby shoes.

The 21-year-old influencer shared a Boomerang of a pair of designer blue leather shoes for an infant, along with the caption: “Me as a mum.”

Designed by Gucci, the chic micro loafers retailer at £235, and were pictured next to a freshly-opened shoe box.

However, as soon as they laid eyes on the photo, Molly-Mae’s fans started wondering whether the teeny shoes were an elaborate hint.

Taking to social media, her followers started speculating whether Molly-Mae, who dates fellow Islander Tommy Fury, had fallen pregnant – a theory she was quick to shut down.

On Instagram stories, she shared a selfie, captioned with a firm dismissal of the pregnancy speculation.

She said: “Also guys I’m not pregnant.

“Can’t believe so many of you would think I’d announce a pregnancy with a story of a shoe tbh.”

Molly-Mae has been vocal in the past about her plans to delay starting a family with beau Tommy Fury, despite his enthusiasm to settle down.

Back in October, the sweethearts – who met on last year’s summer season of Love Island – discussed their baby plans in a YouTube Q and A with their fans.

Molly said: “We both definitely want children. But obviously we’re both only 20 years old.”

However, Tommy was quick to jump in, exclaiming: “We’ve been trying to make children most nights.”

While Molly-Mae tried to deny it, he continued: “Yes we have, we’ve been snoodling in the bedroom, I want twins by the time I’m 22, simple as that.

“Molly wants six kids, I want eight.”

However, as Molly made clear this week, the sweethearts are in no hurry to watch their family grow.
