Love Island’s Rebecca Gormley took to social media to host a question and answer session with devoted fans but suffered an embarrassing blunder.

The awkward situation arose as one fan innocently asked: “Who was your best friend in the villa?”

To which Rebecca proudly told her followers: “My best friend in the villa was definitely Jess Gale. We literally laughed non stop together.”

Alongside the caption, she shared a cosy image to showcase their close bond but had made a huge mix up with her chosen snap.

Eagle eyed Love Island die hard fans, were quick to point out the 21-year-old had muddled her twins.

Rather than sharing a snap of Jess, she’d actually shared a picture of herself alongside Jess’s twin sister Eve instead.

After her error had been highlighted, she was quick to upload a photo with her correct villa chum Jess.

She penned: “Whoops last pic was Eve, here’s Jess” alongside a laughing with tears emoji.

Rebecca didn’t end up finding her match made in heaven while on the hit ITV match maker show and left the villa single.

Although since her stint on the love finding programme she did spark up a romance with Chris Biggs, 27, who also appeared on the show.

Chris, who is better known as Biggs, recently splashed the headlines after he confessed that Rebecca had “f***ed up” on a drunken night out.

During the Q&A, one intrigued fan questioned how the couple were doing after the recent ordeal, asking: “How are you and Biggs going?”

Confirming that they are very much still happy, she replied: “Me and Biggs are really good, he is literally the funniest guy I have ever met.”

The couple recently faced their first bump in the road of their relationship after Rebecca was spotted heading to Michael Griffith’s room on a drunken night out.

It would seem that the pair have now put their romance back on track after Rebecca stayed on the sofa in Michael’s room.

The Scottish-born lad, did reveal that he had now forgiven and forgotten, giving the former model and care home worker a second chance.

Speaking to The Sun, Biggs revealed that Michael had tried to call him in the evening as he was worried about the Geordie lasses drunken state.

Biggs said: “He told me nothing happened and that he would never do that to me.

“Michael did try to call me that night while I was asleep and when I spoke to him he was like, “Look what was I meant to do with her? She was drunk.”
