Love Island’s Alexandra Cane has taken to Instagram to urge fans to “be careful” after she was mugged in London yesterday.
The reality star, 29, was left “shaken” after the robbery but felt “okay” today and decided to speak up to warn others when venturing out and about in the capital.
Fitness fanatic Alexandra had been out walking in Shoreditch when the robber approached her on a bicycle, quickly swiping her phone from her hand before getting away.
Reflecting on the situation, the TV starlet said she was just “thankful” that a weapon wasn’t “involved” and instead wanted to use her platform to raise awareness.

Urging fans to be alert, she penned: ‘UPDATE: Thank you for all your messages of support. My phone got stolen out of my hand whilst walking earlier.
“I’m currently using a different device to post this (that doesn’t have a SIM card/number) so not able to make calls etc. Was a little shaken earlier but had some time to reflect on the situation…”
The influencer also insisted she wanted to look at the brighter side of the situation while sending the robber her well wishes, putting the past behind her.
Trying to remain positive, the social media influencer wished the culprit nothing “but love and light” in the wake of the frightening incident.

She continued: “I pray that the guy who stole my phone is able to make some money from my handset (if that was his intention), as clearly he is struggling to have to go to such measures. I wish him nothing but love and light.
“I’m going to enjoy being a little further disconnected for the rest of the today. Tomorrow is one of the biggest days of my life, so I’m going to go for a walk and reflect on my journey and how it’s got me here.
“I will count my blessings. I will seek the good in this situation. Time to switch off and replenish my energy cause lord knows I need it! I hope you’re ready for what’s coming…”

After finding peace following the terrifying ordeal, she used her platform to provide some safety advice when heading out in East London.
The makeup artist said: “PS. I know it’s easy for me to say ‘be careful when walking in East London/Shoreditch that it doesn’t happen to you…”
“But a few weeks ago it happened to a girl I know, she posted about it, however, I didn’t process it properly as I didn’t think it would happen to me… but it did.
“Please be cautious guys, I’m so thankful it wasn’t my whole handbag/wallet etc and that a weapon wasn’t involved. Apparently, this is happening a lot around this area so please be mindful!
“I know I said I was enjoying feeling connected to earth earlier but higher powers really took it to the next level didn’t they. Catch you guys tomorrow! Keep your eyes peeeeeeeled. I’m off to buy a Nokia 3210.”
