Love Island host Laura Whitmore has opened up about her new life in lockdown, telling fans she’s coping with the sudden change in lifestyle by working out and using music to lift her spirits or help her unwind.
The blonde starlet, who is thought to be engaged to boyfriend Iain Stirling, has revealed her top ten tracks that help her feel energetic, inspired and chilled to celebrate the launch of Goggle’s Nest Sessions.
She cites music and cultural icon Debbie Harry as her go to to lift her spirits.
Laura said: “Call me by Blondie is the first song that jumps into my head when I need a boost of energy – it was released back in 1988 and it’s a song that gives me huge amounts of energy.

“Blast it on, listen to that drum beat, dance around your living room, kitchen – anywhere!
“It’s a great track for when you need an uplifting gear change when you’re transitioning through key moments of the day and to give the motivation we all need at the moment!”
In comparison, she says that she can’t resist the tones of Stevie Knicks or Christine McVie with Fleetwood Mac to help her unwind.
“There are tonnes of songs that chill me out, but there’s one that is particularly special for me, from probably one of the greatest bands ever – Fleetwood Mac,” she continued.
“It’s usually Stevie Nicks on lead vocals, but this time it’s Christine McVie and this is the opening instrumental of Everywhere.

“The soothing sounds put me in a reflective headspace, I love listening to it when I’m unwinding from a long day in the bath – it never fails to make me feel chilled, safe and restful – setting the mood perfectly.”
