Marianne Faithfull has been discharged from the hospital, after a 22-day battle with coronavirus.
The 73-year-old songstress thanked NHS staff for their care throughout her hospital stay, helping to nurse her back to health.
Making a statement over Twitter, her team said: “We are really happy to say that Marianne has been discharged from hospital today, 22 days after being admitted suffering from the symptoms of Covid-19. She will continue to recuperate in London.
“Marianne thanks you all for your kind messages of concern which have meant a great deal through what is a such a difficult time for so many.
“She is also very grateful to all the NHS staff who cared for her at the hospital and, without doubt, saved her life.”

Marianne’s manager, Francois Ravard, revealed she was “stable and responding to treatment” for Covid-19 on April 4.
Later in the month, her longtime pal Penny Arcade released a statement about her condition, saying: “Marianne Faithfull is in hospital in London having tested positive for Covid 19. She went in this past Tuesday.
“She has withstood and survived so much in her life – including being Marianne Faithfull, that to be taken down by a virus would be such a tragedy.

“I spoke to her last week and she was hiding out from the virus but she has caregivers and someone brought in to her.”
Her ex-husband John Dunbar later gave an update on her condition, explaining Marianne was struggling to speak.
The gallerist and collector said: “She can barely speak and no visitors.”

Marianne rose to fame in the 60s with her hit song As Tears Go By, touring with the Rolling Stones and performing across the globe.
She had a lengthy romance with musician Mick Jagger towards the end of the decade, though the two parted ways in 1970.
After a spell of homelessness in the 70s, Marianne turned her life around and went on to enjoy a hugely successful music career with albums like Dreamin’ My Dreams and Broken English.
