Maya Jama, 25, has set the records straight and broken her silence on the latest dating rumours, after a friend of hers asked her if she was seeing a guy.
The television host, who split from rapper Stormzy last year, made it clear she’s single though, and it sounds like she’s not looking for that to change too soon.
Taking to her Instagram Story, brunette beauty Maya said to her 1.6million followers: “Hey, my friends just rang me, ‘Are you seeing so and so,’ somebody I don’t know.
“It’s not the time of day to talk about it. I can’t be bothered.

“But please, people, girls and boys, stop saying you’re s******g people, stop saying you’re seeing people that you’re not, because when it comes back around and the information gets back to the person, it is so embarrassing for you.”
She went on: “I’m just like, ‘Awks, why, for what?’
“But, yeah, for the record, I am 100% single.”
Maya has been single since she split from rapper Stormzy last year.
And now she feels like her name doesn’t have to be associated with his.

She said to The Guardian: “I understood at the time. He was – he is – massive in the public eye and a lot of people didn’t know who I was.
“But now I do feel people know my name separately, and it does feel like I’m coming into my own. It feels like I’m finally getting recognition from my hard work.”
During the candid chat, Maya also spoke of what it was like to go through the death of her previous boyfriend Rico Gordon in 2011.
She had been on the phone to Rico, 21, when he was killed during a shout-out between two gangs.
Maya said: “That changed my life completely. Losing somebody close to you as a teenager, particularly your first love, rocks your whole world and you are forced to see life differently. And you feel like life is too short.”
She continued: “He was an innocent man who lost his life instantly at 21, and that shocks you and it also makes you snap up, like, no, I’m not wasting time any more.”
