Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could follow in the footsteps of Prince William by producing a documentary around the environment for Netflix, royal experts have suggested.
William was followed by ITV cameras for two years as he travelled around the globe to bring to light the serious environmental issues.
The documentary, A Planet For Us All, was widely praised for its intimate portrayal of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their fight against climate change.
And with Meghan and Harry’s new Netflix deal, royal commenter Roberta Fiorito believes they could follow the next in line to the throne with their own conservation documentary.

Speaking on their Royally Obsessed podcast, Roberta said: “Because William is a senior working royal, he’s not necessarily doing these documentaries for a commercial gain whereas Harry and Meghan have been paid for this Netflix partnership.
“And they’ll probably produce pretty similar feeling documentaries but just with Netflix.
“So it’ll be interesting to see how they compare and what impact they both have.”
She went on to note how unusual, but encouraging, that many of the senior members of the Royal Family have taken on climate change.

“Usually, you think they stick to their own lanes – someone will focus on mental health, someone will focus on access to education,” Roberta continued.
“But Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry with Travalyst all are really focussing on climate change now.
“That’s a huge deal, that three of the biggest personas in the Royal Family have chosen this cause.”
While it has not yet been confirmed the exact shows that the Sussexes will be producing as part of their Netflix deal, when the announcement was made they gave a hint of what was to come.
“Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” they said in a statement.
“As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens.”
